Learn to support dying people and their families
Facing big loss is hard, but it’s even harder if you’re not prepared.
There are ways to meet death that bring more love into the world, and developing those skills is a gift to yourself, your family, and your community.
The world needs more death doulas
In 2016, I taught a 4-part Death Doula Training in Calgary, and I’ve had many requests to offer the same material online. I’m currently developing this program, and am planning to launch it in late 2017 or early 2018.
The Community Healers’ Council is a learning community for ritual leaders and spiritual seekers. We gather monthly to explore the nature of healing, and to deepen our capacity to hold transformative space for ourselves and others.
The Calgary Holistic Death Network meets monthly, to share questions, ideas, and enthusiasm for doing death better. With a guest speaker and lots of small group interaction, it’s a welcoming place to explore the death positivity movement.
Get support, guidance, and supervision in one-on-one phone or in-person sessions for emerging and existing practitioners.
Find your way into the field of death midwifery. Or, if you’re already in practice, deepen your skills and abilities.
