A Community Healers’ Council Lecture
by Sarah Kerr, PhD
“The master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house.”
“Problems cannot be solved with the same mind-set that created them.”
Our world is in need of healing. The Calgary Community Healers’ Council aims to stretch beyond the structures of western mind, to explore some of the new (old) mindsets and tools that will help bring that healing about.
As an alternative to the western worldview, animism values relationships, honours the unseen, and recognizes everything as alive, intelligent, and engaged. An animist perspective offers a path for returning to right relationship with our world, and the beings with whom we share it.
This lecture explores the significance of our worldviews, and offers support and resources for those called to support conscious evolution.
Join us for an evening of thought-provoking ideas and conversation!
This public lecture is the third in a series that explores the ideas behind the experiential work we do in the Calgary Community Healers’ Council. This lecture, and future lectures in the series, will be available for sale here on the website. Watch the Soul Passages mailing list for an announcement.
The Calgary Community Healers’ Council is a learning laboratory for ritual practitioners. We meet monthly, and use the tools of council, divination, constellation, dreamwork, and ceremony to deepen our connections to our sacred living world. Everyone is welcome.
