Everything that arises falls away again
Our lives are full of beginnings and endings, of smaller and larger deaths and births. Some changes we celebrate, and some we don’t, but each of them asks us to step across a threshold and become someone new.
Before we can allow the new, we have to say goodbye to the old, and sometimes our souls need help integrating that transition. A ritual can mark the spiritual significance of what’s changing in our inner and outer worlds.
Join us in the dark of the moon, when the old makes way for the new
We gather in community, because none of us know how to do this alone.
No matter what the issue brought to the ceremony, others in the group either have experienced it before, or may experience it in the future. We share what’s happening for us because that’s how we all learn how to face hard things.
We gather in the dark of the moon, because she knows all about the cycles of birth, growth, death, and rebirth
When we align our lives with the larger cosmic forces, we can lean into those great powers, and let them show us the way. We can learn from the wisdom of natural cycles, and find the solace and inspiration we need.
We gather to practice the art of letting go
When we practice letting go, we build a muscle that helps us face hard things and get through them. This skill holds us well when we face the big losses in our lives; our own deaths, or the deaths of those we love.
We gather because being in right relationship with our sacred, living world is a life skill.
And it’s one that most of us from dominant culture need to learn.
Our world is asking for healing. Humbling ourselves, and learning the practice of ritual reciprocity, can be an act of reconciliation.
Ritual restores the soul of the world.
